BLOMBERG PRODUCT CATALOG 2018 — 1 OF 3
Role:
Art Director, Designer, Client Contact, Stock Photo Retoucher
Task:
Create a product catalog to introduce the Blomberg brand to the US market. I received this file eight months after the start of this project. Ten different concepts had been present to the client at that point and they didn’t like any of them.
Solution:
After reviewing the previously presented layouts, I proposed the current layout and it was approved right away. I then built out the 100-page catalog and worked diligently with the brand manager to assure product accuracy as well as brand tone. This is the guiding light for the Blomberg brand and reflects the upscale, luxurious tone created through writing and imagery.

Blomberg Newsletter Template
Role:
Designer
Task:
Create a template that could easily be altered every month.
Solution:
Similar to Beko, a versatile layout with enough flexibility to allow for a variety of information, promotions, or products was created, as well as a customizable section on the back for individual sales reps to input their contact information.
BEKO PRODUCT CATALOG 2018 — 1 OF 3
Role:
Art Director, Designer, Client Contact, Stock Photo Retoucher
Task:
Layout all product details to introduce the Beko product line to the US market. Establish a template for all future catalogs.
Solution:
This was the first of many marketing pieces needed to establish the newly created, high-end brand. Beko’s target audience is upper class, suburban families. The result is a 70 page catalog printed on heavy stock with an aqueous, soft-touch coating; ready to standout among the home appliance competition at dealerships across the country. It also serves as the point of reference for all other marketing pieces.

BEKO ENERGY STAR — PARTNER OF THE YEAR CAMPAIGN
Role:
Art Director, Designer, Copywriter
Task:
Create a campaign to announce Beko as an official Energy Star Partner of Year for the 2nd year in a row.
Solution:
Wrote several headlines and paired them up with images for the client to select a direction. After this direction was chosen, I worked with the copywriter to perfect content for this flyer. Other designers then built additional marketing collateral off of this piece.

BEKO U.S. SOLAR DECATHLON BOOKLET — 1 OF 3
Role:
Art Director, Designer, Client Contact, Copywriter, Stock Photo Retoucher
Task:
Client needed a booklet showcasing 7 out of the 12 homes being presented at the Solar Decathlon, a collegiate competition that challenges teams to design and build full-size, solar-powered houses. 3 houses used a majority of Blomberg products, while 4 utilized mostly Beko products.
Solution:
A jointly-branded booklet that both companies could use at the competition to promote their products within the homes. The 20-page booklet served as a tour guide during the competition so spectators could easily reference the products as they walked through the homes. After the show, we can assume it was used as a resource material for future contenders, as both Beko and Blomberg work to achieve energy efficiency in all products.
